Hello again, crafty friends! As I was designing projects with the new Waffle Flower November 2022 release products, I ended up creating cards with a "Stripes and Dots" theme. Each set of cards featuring the new Waffle Flower release products has a "striped" card and a "dots" card.
The other day I shared the floral wreath card with the shiplap - striped! - background. Today I am sharing the "dots" card, a shaped card featuring the lovely flowers created with the new Layered Flowers Die.
For the dotted background, I applied Distress Texture Paste (opaque) with the WF Tiny Dots stencil on cardstock cut from the largest arch of the WF Nesting Portrait Arches Die.
To create the flowers, I did a lot of ink smooshing on watercolor paper with various Distress Inks and Distress Oxides. Then I cut the flowers from the ink smooshed paper and assembled them onto the card. The sentiment came from the WF Subsentiments Diecut sheet and I edged the sentiment strip with black marker to make it look like black cardstock.
