Hello crafty friends! I always enjoy making cards inspired by books, shows, or movies, and some of you may recognize this project. This card is for all you Korean drama/movie zombie genre fans... I hope you enjoy my Train to Busan card featuring Little Zombie Agenda!
The train full of zombies was really fun to figure out. I colored the zombies with Copic markers (skin: W1, W2; veins BV23; hair T3, T5, T6; blood: R39; brains: RV11, W1) and cut them out with coordinating dies. To create the trains, I used Docket Lil Bus and did partial die cutting. First, I cut out the full bus without windows from silver cardstock. Then, I fit that piece into the bus with windows die and used the partial die cutting method to cut out only the windows. Finally, I trimmed the wheels off. I arranged the zombies in the bus and glued them onto the background. To mimic the train in the movie, I added orange and white stripes along the top by cutting buses out of orange and white paper and slicing off a strip to fit.
For my custom Busan sign, I typed the words into a Word document, printed onto cardstock, stamped the arrow sign from The Dog's Woof, and cut it out with the coordinating die. The city background (Urban City) was stamped in gray ink over an ink blended background (Distress Oxides: lost shadow, pumice stone, hint of chipped sapphire). The train tracks are from Little Agenda Trains and since this card is 6" by 4", I had to use two tracks to stretch across the bottom. The sentiment from Walking Zombies was white heat embossed on black cardstock. I popped up the trains and sentiment with thin foam squares and ta da! Train to Busan card!
Thank you for stopping by today! Happy crafting! ~Jenn
