ME Designer Series: Teeny Notes Tiny Notepads

Hi crafty friends! I am so excited to share with you these tiny notepads that I made using Teeny Notes! They are so cute and fun and a lot easier to make than you think!

First, I die cut stacks of the Teeny Notes and Cute Clipboard from printer paper. I cut out 5 sheets at a time to make it faster and afterwards, I separated the pages because they were stuck together. For the scalloped pages, I trimmed off one edge to create a straight side, which is where the pages will be glued together. Next, I cut the notepad front and back covers from patterned cardstock and heavy kraft cardstock.

Now the fun part, gluing! I sandwiched the covers and inner pages together, being careful to line them all up. Then I clamped the stack between two pieces of heavy cardstock and used binder clips to protect and secure for the gluing step. I used a special adhesive called padding compound (you can easily purchase from Amazon) and brushed it onto the top edge of the notepads. After applying two layers of glue (allowing each layer to dry in between coats), I separated the finished notepads from the protective cardstock by carefully slicing it away with a craft knife. Don't worry if this didn't make sense, just follow along with this YouTube video that I watched to learn how to do this!

Finally, I decorated the covers with various images from this new May release (You're a Super Star, Lil Kitty Docket, Math ClassScience Class), letters from Lanyard Pocket, and Let's Chat. I love how these notepads turned out and now I want to turn more things into notepads hahaha!

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you are inspired to use your supplies "outside the box"! Happy crafting! ~Jenn
