Hello crafty friends! We are highlighting Boy Band from the Mama Elephant Nov 2025 release! Be sure to grab all the new goodies from the Mama Elephant website! I was so excited to create this Stray Kids themed card! For those who know K-pop, this stamp set is the set for you! For those who don't know K-pop, this stamp set is still the set for you because it's really just a music themed set! You can get creative with how you color the images and boom! It's your favorite band!
I colored up the images with Copic markers and something I like to do when creating pop up box cards is to die cut a second layer to glue behind the colored image. That way all of the marker bleed through will be hidden and gives it a cleaner look.
To create the background, I started by ink blending some wilted violet Distress Oxide ink on navy blue cardstock. Then I added black soot to the edges to darken it up. Next I stenciled on light rays with white pigment ink.
Finally, to add some shimmer, I splattered Lawn Fawn liquid stardust. I cut out the lighting track pieces from On Stage from silver foil cardstock and created speakers with various shades of black and gray cardstock.
For the side and front panels, I stamped images and a sentiment from Sung Sayings. I cut out stars from glittery yellow cardstock (from Your Paper Insider) and added music notes from On Stage. To finish out the card, I cut a sentiment from You Rock! from black and silver glitter cardstock, layering the black behind the silver to create a shadow.
