Howdy friends! We are highlighting Holiday Reading on the Mama Elephant blog today. This sentiment set pairs perfectly with the new Reading Tree set. I used both sets on my card today.
My most favorite part of this card is the book covers! I customized them to look like actual books- The . BFG, The Pigeon Wants a Puppy, Wonder, and Pride and Prejudice. The little girl reading Pride and Prejudice cracks me up, hahah, can you imagine an 8 year old reading it? hehehe!
The background was cut from Turn the Page. I stuck the background in my stamp positioner, placing the images where I wanted them to be, and then positioned the sentiments around the images. Then I stamped the sentiments. I popped up the book with foam tape and the images with thin foam squares.
