ME Stamp Highlight: Tiny Helpers

Oh crafty friends, we are featuring the cutest holiday stamp set today, Tiny Helpers! I feel like the train with the critters is enough justification to buy this set! (The tree is pretty fab too!) I had so much fun creating this card and it became my favorite project from this whole release!

First, I created the background using In Stitches and Concord & 9th inks (tidepool, evergreen, ballet slipper, sprout). I used acetate sheets and my Waffleflower grip mat to mask off stripes for ink blending. Afterwards, I colored my images using Copic markers and tried to match my background as best as I could. I created the sentiment banners with Mini Merry Messages and various banner dies from my stash. To get the colored banners to match my background, I ink swiped cardstock with C9 tidepool and ballet slipper and then cut out the banner. The big sentiment is from Everything Nice.

I cut out a piece of vellum using Combo Rectangles and adhered the images on the vellum. Once I did that, I added glue on the back of the vellum at the spots with images--this way, the glue is hidden. I hope that made sense...!
