ME Stamp Highlight: Jolly Balloons

 Hello there, crafty friend! We are sharing projects featuring Jolly Balloons on the ME blog today! 

I colored up the balloons with Copic markers and I have to admit something-- I tried to color them like mylar balloons but they didn't turn out, so I ended up coloring them like a "normal" balloon. I still like the way these balloons turned out and love how they add a fun festive look to a holiday card!

For the background, I painted the night sky with watercolors. I am not a watercolorist. But I tried.... ha! I used a starry sky stencil and pearl stencil paste to add shimmery stars. I cut out the cloud frame using In the Clouds.

I attached balloon strings using metallic embroidery thread and to secure them, I glued them and sandwiched them between another die cut. I added the little penguins from Little Penguin Agenda and used the puppy in the box from Jolly Balloons to the ends of the balloon strings. Finally, I adhered the images using foam squares.
