Hello crafty friends! Talk about the sweetest bakery set.... La Patisserie! Oh my heart! So cute! I envisioned a little neighborhood with a local bakery for this card, and I just love how it turned out! This was another big scene so I had to make this into a 5"x7" A7 size card.
I used images from La Patisserie and Hey Neighbor to create this city scene. For the apartment building, I added patterned paper behind the critters in the windows so it would look like wallpaper. The sign on the door is blank so I had to write the word "open" on it with a super thin Pigma Micron pen. I also added a cat from Little Cat Agenda because what's cuter than a cat? A cat wearing GLASSES and reading!
To create the background, I ink blended and stenciled a cloudy sky with tumbled glass Distress oxide ink. The sidewalk was masked off and ink blended with lost shadow Distress ink and splattered with hickory smoke Distress ink.
The sentiment is from the new Hi Sweetie and I added a few extra layers to pop up the sentiment. I like doing this instead of using foam tape when I want only a little bit of extra dimension.
Thanks for stopping by! Happy crafting!
