ME Stamp Highlight: Bakery Bears

Hi crafty friends! Welcome to the first Stamp Highlight of the Mama Elephant June release, Bakery Bears! These bears are the cutest bakers everrrr and I had so much fun making this card!

I created a tri-fold card with a see through front panel--I wanted it to look like you were peeking inside a bakery! To create the see through window, I first cut an opening using B2B Arches. Then I added the brick wall using a stencil and warm gray ink. I layered a piece of acetate between two Arch Shop cutouts to create the window. I glued on the columns to the side of the window arch and adhered the bear and menu sign. I added some shading to the pink bow with pink Copic markers.

For the inside panel, I used a woodgrain embossing folder to create the background. I added some kraft cardstock with ink blended edges for the floor of the bakery. I used the chalkboard from School Rules to create the menu chalkboard and wrote on it with a Gelly Roll pen.

I colored all of the images with Copic markers and had fun coloring all the pastries with all the different shades of brown in my marker collection haha! Note: The baker bear is holding a bun and I colored it to look like the Chinese pastry pineapple bun (bolo bao for all you Chinese speakers!)... that's one of my favorite pastries, especially the ones that have the filling inside, mm mmm!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a lovely day!
