ME Stamp Highlight: Magical Wizards

Hi crafty friends! We have more Mama Elephant Stamp Highlights and today we are featuring Magical Wizards on the ME blog!

I created a galaxy background using distress oxide inks (picked raspberry, wilted violet, twisted citron, chipped sapphire, black soot) and splattered water and white paint. I ran it through the die cut machine with the Studded Stars cover die. I used holographic paper behind the galaxy panel to add shimmer for the stars.

I cut out clouds using Display a Card and added glittery Stickles to the edges.

For the sentiment, I cut out "happy" from more holographic paper and added layers of black cardstock for dimension. For the birthday sentiment, I heat embossed a sentiment from Easy Sentiments and trimmed off what I needed. The inside sentiment was stamped with Versafine onyx ink and then I glued on a few of the little stars that popped out from the front panel with the potions image.

I wanted to make a matching card and crochet plush set so I crocheted a cute little cat wizard to match the wizard on the card. I followed this YouTube video. I created a label using Handmade Labels and tied it onto the cat with a ribbon. I'm not sure what I like more, the card or the cat!!
