Howdy craft friends! Today we are highlighting Playful Raccoons! How cute are these chonky raccoons?!? Since raccoons like to wash their food, I envisioned them by a pond, hanging out with their froggy friends!
Raccoon coloring: I used Toner grays for most of the raccoons but added warm gray for the muzzles.
Frogs: I used Copic G20s for the main body and Ohuhu GY173 for the belly.
The pond water is patterned paper that mimics alcohol inked paper. I cut a slit in the pond to slip a raccoon in so it looks like he is swimming. The grass is from Grass Duo and I used partial die cutting with the Pond Scene die to get grass running along the top.
For the sentiment, I masked off the "A" in Happy Birthday and replaced it with an "O" from one of the sentiments in Personal Letters. And now I have a punny Hoppy Birthday sentiment to match the scene!
Thanks for stopping by! Happy crafting!
