ME Stamp Highlight: Counting Right

Hi crafty friends! Welcome to the last Stamp Highlight of the January Mama Elephant release! We are sharing inspiration for Counting Right!

This Z-fold card was inspired by the Cheeky Birthday sentiment "Age is just a number, but in your case, it's a really big number." I had the idea to do a fun reveal of a really big number hahaha! This card will be given to someone turning 45 with a sense of humor LOL!

I mapped out where the score lines were going to be and arranged my stamping according to what will be shown when the card was folded. I stamped and masked the images before ink blending the background. Note about masking: I ran out of my full-stick Post It notes so I ended up using regular copy paper and applying Sakura Quickie Glue Pen to make a mask since the glue can dry as a temporary adhesive.

I used Concord and 9th inks (clementine, dragonfruit, fig) and a touch of black soot Distress Ink to create the background. Then I splattered some thinned out white acrylic paint. After drying, I removed the masks and colored the images. Finally, I added a touch of glitter to the numbers with a clear Wink of Stella brush pen and scored and folded the card.
