Hello crafty friends! Welcome to the first day of Stamp Highlights for the January release! Today we are featuring Birthday Block set, which was one of the freebies from the previous anniversary release.
I used the Birthday Block Set image and paired it with one of my favorite sentiment dies Big Happy Birthday. The sentiment was cut from rose gold cardstock to match the ink blended background (Distress Oxide: tattered rose, victorian velvet). I noticed that when I cut my cardstock with the Sweetheart Cover, all of the little hearts stayed in the holes, and I really liked how it looked so I kept it that way for the card.
