Hiya crafty friends! We are highlighting Round Tag Wishes today on the Mama E blog, and this set was a freebie back in the September release but now available for purchase!
I have to admit that this card was a conglomeration of several ideas that were spinning around in my head... and it became this spinner card! I also have to admit that I wasn't sure if I was "allowed" to mix gold and silver together but decided to just go for it and ignore the naysayers haha!
I started with creating the tags by stamping them with artichoke ink from Lawn Fawn and gold heat embossing the embellishments. The little bows are from Winter Taggins. Before I glued the tags together, I sandwiched some clear thread in between to prepare the spinner mechanism.
For the card front, I cut out a panel with Stitched Flurries Cover and then cut out an arch using B2B Arches. I cut out a slightly larger arch out of silver paper to layer with the first arch. Then I cut out the circles to create the spinner opening. To decorate the arch, I used the sprigs from Serenity Ornament and bow from Basic Set. The sentiment was white heat embossed from Sparkle and Shine. Finally, I added another panel of Stitched Flurries to the inside to create a trifold card but also so that there would be continuity in the front panel.
Thank you for stopping by! Happy crafting!
