Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight: Painting Piggies

Hi crafty friends! Today Mama Elephant is highlighting the new Painting Piggies stamp set on their blog. It is such a fun set with the cute piggies and fun accessories!

I did a little bit of no line coloring with the pig portrait on the canvas because I wanted it to look like the pig actually created a painting of the little piggie. The rest of the images (from Painting Piggies, Little Pig Agenda, Deliver Spring Happiness, and It's Okay) were stamped out in alcohol marker friendly ink and colored with Copic markers.

For the background, I first used some antique linen Distress Oxide ink with an MFT background stamp (Touch of Texture), and then I used the ME Quilted Cover to cut it out. I wanted it to look like nice textured wallpaper. Then I cut a strip of kraft cardstock with the Woodgrain Cover and ink blended the edges with the new Distress Ink color, Scorched Timber, along with ground espresso Distress Ink. Finally, the sentiment was stamped from the new Lucky Friend sentiment set.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great crafty day!
