Christmas Pop Up Shoppe

Hi crafty friends! Whew, it's been a minute since I've made a card... the holidays always sneak up on me and crafting got put on the back burner. But I found time this weekend to make one last card! My goal for 2023 was to use my unused stamps and dies... and while I didn't use all of them (and bought more stuff hahaha), I say I did a pretty good job of using unused supplies. Today's card features the amazing Concord & 9th Window Shoppe Pop-Up and Flower Shoppe dies that have been sitting in my box, unused but definitely not unloved! I love these dies and think they are adorable! I wanted to make a Christmas-y shoppe and had to pull from many other sets to make this vision happen.

There was sooooo much diecutting involved... this card took longer than usual but in the end, I think it was worth it! I wanted to mention my labor of love, the wreath on the door. I did not have the right sized wreath so I had to create one. I used the tire dies from the C9 Window Shoppe Pop-Up set for the hoop as the base of the wreath. Then I cut out a bunch of holly leaves from Lawn Fawn Build A Snowman die set. I snipped apart the leaves to get individual leaves for easier arranging. Then, leaf by leaf, I built the wreath and added a bow (from C9 Flower Shoppe dies).
The bicycle was cut out from cardstock colored with salvaged patina distress oxide ink and also got a bow added. I used the C9 Double Stripe Card Front die to add texture to the storefront panel. The Christmas tree was from Honey Bee Winter Village and decorated with a gold glitter star (Mama Elephant Basic Set) and ornaments (flower centers from C9 Flower Shoppe).
For the shelf, I added elements from the C9 Flower Shoppe dies and made my own shelf and set of books by cutting cardstock with good ole fashioned scissors and paper cutter.  The Christmas lights hanging from the awning had a bit of clear Nuvo drops added for extra shine. The sentiment was from Mama Elephant Iconic Ornament and cut out with Lawn Fawn Everyday Sentiment Banner dies.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you enjoy this holiday season and have a wonderful 2024!
