Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight: Lil Friend Tags

Happy Sunday, crafty friends! Today's featured stamp set, Lil Friend Tags, may look familiar-- it was the freebie from Mama Elephant's anniversary release back in September! And now it's available for purchase, just in time to add some cuteness to your holiday gift wrapping!

I had this idea of the cute critter tags on a clothesline. No clue where my zany brain came up with that but I'm glad I went with it. I also became a little obsessed with finding tiny clothespins and fortunately found them at my local Joann store. (I know they are called Joann but for some reason when I say it out loud, I always say Joanns with an S... anyone else do that?)

For the background, I inkblended it with Distress oxides (salvaged patina, cracked pistachio). Then I used the Magic Snow Cover and cut it smaller with the Combo Rectangle die. I splattered with white acrylic paint and adhered some baker's twine to make my clothesline. I popped it up on foam tape over a panel I cut out with the Woodgrain Cover die

To color the critters, I used Copic markers:

Hamster-- YR21, YR24, YR27, E00, E000, R30; Penguin-- C0, C1, C3, N2, N4, N6, N8, R30

Reindeer-- E11, E13, E15, E18, E57, E59, R22; Accessories-- R81, R83, R85, YG41, YG45

The sentiment from Everything Nice was stamped with picked raspberry Distress Oxide ink and cut out with the coordinating die.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy crafting!
