Hi crafty friends! Have you checked out all the goodies in Waffle Flower's November release? Today's card features the new Waffle Flower Outlined Hearts Die. What a fun die to use in so many different ways!
I created the striped background by cutting various pink cardstock stripes and gluing them onto a piece of copy paper. I trimmed down a piece of white cardstock and offset the heart die and ran it through my die cutting machine. Then I lined up my white cardstock on top of the pink striped background and lined up my die so I could cut the hearts from the pink background. (I hope this is making sense!) Then, I cut out the heart outline from silver cardstock. I assembled and glued the background together (like putting together a puzzle!) onto a white cardbase.
Finally, I white heat embossed the sentiment from the WF Oversized Heart stamp combo set. I cut the "heart" from black cardstock, clear embossed it and glued it onto several layers of black cardstock for added dimension.
